Ore Processing
Processing ores is one of the core mechanics of the game.
Every item has a weight, and items with higher weights are generally worth more. Each machine an item passes through changes its weight. At the moment, it is unclear exactly how each machine modifies weight values.
Processing ores usually increases their value.
Polishing, however, always increases value.
Item Values
Below is a list of item values for ores, gems, ingots, and crafted products.
- Products are crafted from ingots.
- The "Per Ingot Increase" column compares the polished crafted item to the value of selling polished ingots directly.
- Pipes require 2 ingots to craft.
- All other listed products require 1 ingot unless stated otherwise.
- All values are at 100% weight

Interesting Notes
- Steel Threaded Rod (202.14%) remains the most efficient per-ingot crafted item.
- Copper Pipe (197.92%) and Copper Threaded Rod (195.25%) are still extremely strong value conversions.
- Gold Threaded Rod (64.58%) is less efficient than selling polished gold ingots directly.
- Steel Pipe maintains high 100% weight value after polishing, unlike some gold products.
- Gems (Diamond and Ruby) continue to have the highest polish multipliers.
Lack of Knowledge
This table does not contain all available information.
- Not all machine weight modifications are documented yet.
- Some values may not be recorded to their exact decimals.
- Crafting ratios for certain items may still need verification.
Improvements, corrections, and additional data are always appreciated.
