Geodes are hollow stones with crystal formations inside.
They come from the same resource nodes that produce ore clusters. What comes out of the resource node, is a Mystery Geode. They can be broken open using a Cluster Breaker, Jackhammer, or sometimes excessive impacts (this method is unreliable).
Once broken open, you'll have 2 pieces of the same type. There are 3 varieties: Quartz Geode (white), Amethyst Geode (purple), or Celestite Geode (blue). Geode pieces can be polished. The Mystery Geode can not but sending a Mystery Geode through a Polishing Machine does not trigger that machine's alarm as it does with ore or coal.
